Do you know what gluten is?  (This is pretty sad.)

I hate Comcast.  Apparently, I'm not the only one

The difference between Parisians and New Yorkers.

I love this post on age expectations and creating self imposed timelines for no reason.

I am so grateful for Sarah's sincere post comparing her experience caring for her father in law to the cycle of life.
Have a great weekend!

  1. Comcast is the absolute worst! I am so happy I don't have to deal with them anymore.

  2. I love the "Do you know what gluten is" video! Very funny. It reminds me of the show Street Smarts, where the host asked average people basic questions. I guess it is worse if you are gluten free and don't know why.

  3. LOVE that article on expectations! Thanks for sharing! :)

  4. Oh dear lord, I laughed myself silly while watching that gluten video. In a related story... My kids' teachers don't allow peanut butter or anything that contains nuts, any jams or jellies or products that contain strawberries, or any chocolate products (because it is "candy" and it might make the other kids jealous.) So that first week of school was a tough one, because my three kids usual lunches consisted of PEANUT butter and STRAWBERRY jam sandwiches, ALMOND milk ( the little boxes), and homemade granola bars made with assorted grains, NUTS, and vegan CHOCOLATE chips. I had to revamp my whole menu and my kids are still unhappy doing without their favorites--

    1. oh wow! that is crazy! i've heard of not allowing peanut products (although, i'd be so sad not to eat pb&j, too), but i didn't realize strawberries were that big of an allergen. and no nuts at all? seriously, i don't know what i'd be able to pack for a meal, either! and, isn't it an unspoken rule that every lunch box needs a little chocolate in it?

  5. i saw the video on so many shows:) it is sad really. but then i know that already because of similar comments on the fb page :)

thank you for linking up Sarah's post. it is such a beautiful post in so many ways. the smile on her father in laws face is so precious.

your comments are read with love and appreciation.
